Helpful Tips

-Do not stop your mail service. This can alert others that no one is home. We are happy to bring in any mail, newspapers & packages while you're away. 
-Please let us know if you would like us to rotate lights/ open and close blinds in the house while you're away. This gives your house a lived in look and lets others know someone is home. 
-Before leaving please make sure all pet supplies are stocked for the duration of your trip. This includes food, treats, medications, kitty litter, paper towels & cleaning supplies. 
-Please be sure to leave leashes, collars, rabies/ pet id tags, brushes & towels (to dry your pet if it rains). 
-Let your emergency contacts know you will be away in case they are needed. -If you had a new key made for us please test it to be sure that it works. -Do you have our phone number programmed into your phone in case you need to contact us. 
-Make sure any inside doors are closed to rooms you do not want your pets to have access to and any items are out of reach that may be harmful to them (medications, cleaning supplies...). 
-Don't forget about your pets comfort while you're away, in warmer months leave the AC on (even if it's at a warmer setting) and in colder months leaving the heat on will ensure your pet stays comfortable. 
-Have you changed the locks, alarm code, garage door code, your contact numbers? Please inform us of any changes before your trip. 
-Please make sure all checks are made payable to Sarah Burger. We also accept Paypal & Venmo and can invoice you. Payment is due by the start of our 1st visit. 
-Did you remember to pack all paperwork for your trip? Drivers license, passports, tickets or ticket confirmation? 
-And remember to have a fantastic trip! Rest assured your pets will be well cared for while you are away and we will be checking in with updates if you've requested them. We can be reached by cell, text or email for any questions or concerns.
